Jemma Freese – Visiting artist at Girls in Jazz

We were so pleased to invite Jemma Freese back, as our visiting artist, for this month’s Girls in Jazz workshop. Jemma started the session with a 5 minute demonstration of how she creates an improvisation using voice, with manipulated sounds from her Nord keyboard. Afterwards the girls from the session were able to have a go, using the organ drawbars and distortion effects.
