Hi! We now have a core of 10 singers who know the songs and have rehearsed the arrangements.
I will be leading the singalong and will bring sheets with the words on to hand out to people who want to join in.
There will be easy parts for people to join in with – just follow my lead and stand next to someone who knows what they are doing!
Here is a bit more information:
Getting there and parking – there is no parking at the school so please give yourself time to get there. The timing of the start is flexible and will depend on when the samba band finish their set, so don’t worry if you are late or there is a queue to get in.
Everyone singing with the choir will be dressed in colourful clothing so basically – no dress code!
Feel free to sing along with your family of any age!
SEE YOU THERE!
If you want to know more about the choirs that BlueJam runs, do talk to me on the day.
All the best, Jilly
My grandma and your granma
Sittin by the fire
My grandma says to your granma
I’m gonna set that man on fire!
Talk about hey-now, hey-now! hey-now, hey-now!

See that man all dressed in green….
He not a man he a money machine…
See that woman all dressed in red…
Bet you five dollars she’ll knock him dead…
I’ve gotten a rock I’ve a gotten a reel
I’ve gotten a wee bit spinning wheel
By the whirling rim I found
Here the weary world goes round
Round and round the spokes they go
Ain is up and Ain is low
By ups and downs on fortune’s wheel
Money ain’t got a rock to reel
