BIG SING at the BIG SCREEN! October 11th RHEGED IMAX

“Yesterday key stage 2 took part in this amazing musical performance led by Jilly Jarman of Blue Jam Arts at Rheged along with 6 other primary schools from the area. It was really spectacular and a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to create and play music and perform with professional musicians. Well done Yanwath School, Mrs Jackson and pupils in years 4,5 and 6. Brilliant!”

Wonderful performances from all the 7 primary schools from Eden and Carlisle – and thanks to Steve Bryant from UCC for coming along and playing with his instrumentalists – they were great!

Big thanks to Josh Jackson and CC work experience students, to Graham Frost and Jordie Cooke for playing in the band, and all the teachers and parents who assisted the young people in being so creative and willing to share their ideas on stage.
