Manchester composer records the Gamelan for new project

Tom Burford has made a trip up to Penrith to work with the sounds of the gamelan and integrate it into his composition method. With friends Seth and Hugh he will spend two days in BlueJam Space experimenting and recording and will also leave BlueJam with a professionally recorded bank of individual gamelan met allophone and gong samples. Tom has a great new album out with Kawuku Sound on Banana Hill – preview it on bandcamp.
